Die von J.-P. Delor anhand von Luftaufnahmen identifizierte Einhegung von Deux-Rivières (Cravant) war 1999 Gegenstand einer kurzen Sondierungskampagne. Sie ist von einer Palissade und möglicherweise einem Graben oder einer zweiten Palisade umgeben und umgrenzt ein ca. 1,5 ha großes Areal. Sie wurde durch den Bau der Rollbahn eines Militärflughafens, bei dem der Innenbereich teilweise abgetragen wurde, stark beschädigt. Das Fundmaterial gestattet keine genauere Datierung. Die seltenen Indizien legen eine Zuordnung zu der in der Region gut vertretenen Cerny-Kultur nahe. Le petit dépôt de bronzes découvert à Quitteur (commune de Beaujeu-Saint-Vallier-Pierrejux et Quitteur ; Haute-Saône - France), sur une moyenne terrasse de la Saône, est composé de trente-deux objets comprenant un assortiment d’éléments de parures (boutons à bélière, pendeloque, anneaux) associés à un couteau à manche massif et une armature de flèche. Le lieu de découverte du dépôt, dans l’espace occupé par les vestiges d’un habitat contemporain du RSFO, s’écarte de la majorité des dépôts de bronzes isolés comme l’archéologie les perçoit habituellement. The aim of this thesis is to study the processes of emergence, structuring and mutation of an ancient urban network from the end of the Protohistory to the beginning of the Middle Ages in a micro-region located on the edge of the ancient éduens, lingons and séquanes territories, the Saône Valley. This area is characterized by a density of Gallo-Roman small towns with an amount and a high quality of data unequalled in Gaul, as a result of ancient and recent research. The underwater archaeological campaigns carried out over twenty years, from 1970 to 1990, in the Saône valley, more particularly in the area of Chalon-sur-Saône, first by Louis Bonnamour and then by Annie Dumont, generated a considerable quantity of data concerning settlements, located on fjords or river banks. This documentation, stored at the Musée Denon in Chalon-sur-Saône, was the subject of new studies, initiated by Jean-Michel Treffort for the Ouroux-sur-Saône “Marnay” site and continued by Franck Ducreux, notably for the Chalon-sur-Saône “le gué des Piles” site.
